Cataldo Catholic School’s blacktop surfaces had developed extensive cracking and faded markings over time, creating potential tripping hazards and disorganized traffic flow during student drop-off and pick-up periods.

The project centered on asphalt repair to stabilize the pavement and reduce these risks. EverLine began by cleaning the surface before completing asphalt crack filling to address visible damage. The repair process was followed by sealcoating, which provided a renewed surface layer and helped protect the asphalt from further deterioration.

Custom Striping Enhances Play and Traffic Flow

Following the asphalt repair work, the project moved into layout and striping improvements designed to support both recreational and traffic needs on campus.

Custom-painted features included four basketball courts, one soccer field, four foursquare courts, a designated kickball area, and a student gathering zone positioned away from vehicle traffic.

In addition, updated parking lot striping introduced defined parking rows, a drive lane, and directional arrows to guide vehicles more efficiently through the property during busy periods.

The completed asphalt repair and striping project resulted in a more structured and usable outdoor environment for students, staff, and families. The updated layout supports safer pedestrian movement while restoring clearly marked play areas that had previously faded.
